Misool Resort is quite easily one of our most requested locations for snorkeling adventures by our guests. It’s not hard to understand why when you see the photos of the resort! I’d wager that there is no other resort quite like it in the world with its surreal layout framed by karst limestone cliffs, white sandy beaches, overwater bungalows, jungle villas, and several house reefs teeming with life!  With all of that in mind, I’d like to quickly take the time to highlight one of the lesser-known areas of Misool Resort, its South Beach! Misool’s North Lagoon offers overwater villas and bungalows, while South Beach offers exquisite beach and jungle villas. The accommodation style for both the North Lagoon and South Beach incorporates what we call a “rustic-luxury” style, which Misool Resort has perfected. The South Beach Villas are jaw-droppingly gorgeous, with several of them incorporating the limestone cliffs into the interior of the rooms. The jungle villas have large wrap-around decks with multiple levels and even a private yoga shala, while the beach villas offer unobstructed views of what could easily be one of the most beautiful beaches you’ve ever seen. One of the great things about South Beach is its seclusion from the rest of the resort. Not that the North Lagoon is crowded, it’s just that there are only six villas on South Beach, so it feels as if it’s only you on your remote tropical island, but with all the amenities and services of an upscale resort!
