Arrival Requirements:

  • Passengers are not allowed to enter. This does not apply to:
    • Passengers with an e-visa with a visa number ending with LN
    • Passengers with an APEC Business Travel Card
    • Passengers arriving to Bali (DPS) as tourists and arriving from Bahrain, China, France, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Kuwait, Liechtenstein, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, or UAE.  Passengers must have a confirmed booking of accommodation and medical insurance with a minimum coverage of USD 100,000- for COVID-19 treatment.
    • Passengers are not allowed to Transit.
    • Passengers must enter Indonesia via Jakarta (CGK) or Manado (MDC)
    • Passengers must have a printed negative COVID-19 PCR or RT-PCR test taken at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point. Test results must be in English.
    • Passengers must have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before departure. The certificate must be in both English and the local language of the country where passengers were vaccinated.
    • Passengers are subject to a COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival and quarantine for up to 5 days
    • A completed “electronic health awareness card (e-HAC)” must be presented upon arrival. The card can be obtained before departure through the “Pedulilindungi” mobile app

Belize

Arrival Requirements:

All travelers must:

  • Passengers arriving from Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa or Zimbabwe:
    • must have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival; and
    • are subject to a COVID-19 test upon arrival at their own expense.
    • are subject to quarantine at a designated facility for 10 days.
  • Passengers are subject to a COVID-19 test upon arrival at their own expense. This does not apply to:
    • Passengers with a negative COVID-19 PCR test result taken 96 hours before departure;
    • passengers with a negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test result taken 48 hours before departure;
    • passengers younger than 6 years;
    • passengers arriving from Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa or Zimbabwe.
  • Passengers are subject to a medical screening.
  • Passengers traveling as tourists must have a reservation confirmation of an approved hotel. the hotel must be listed on https://belizing.com/Tourism-Gold-Standard-Hotels/. This does not apply to:
    • passengers visiting friends or relatives. Details can be found at https://www.travelbelize.org/health-safety/
    • passengers arriving from Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa or Zimbabwe.
  • Passengers could be subject to quarantine for 10 days, this does not apply to:
    • passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival and a negative COVID-19 PCR or rapid antigen test;
    • passengers with a COVID-19 recovery certificate issued at most 3 months before arrival.

Departure Procedures:

Liveaboard Snorkel Safaris

  • For travelers to the USA (and other countries that accept Antigen test results), a medical lab tech will visit the yacht shortly after it returns to the dock to administer the test. The lab will email the results that evening. The cost is USD 80, and the yacht will add it to your onboard account. For countries that require a PCR test, this test is available as well. PCR Test results are currently taking 24-36 hours. The cost of the test is USD 230. The test will be done onboard the yacht.

Resort Snorkel Safaris

  • For travelers to the USA (and other countries that accept Antigen test results), a medical lab tech will be waiting for us upon our arrival back at the Raddison Fort George Hotel where they will do the testing. The lab will have the results within 30-45 minutes. The cost is $87.50 USD. For countries that require a PCR test, this test is also available also. PCR Test results are currently taking up to 2 hours. The cost of the test is $250 USD.

Egypt

Snorkel Safaris: Egypt Snorkel Safari

Arrival Requirements:

  • Passengers arriving from Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China (People’s Rep.), Colombia, Ecuador, France (Paris only), Germany (Frankfurt only), Guyana, Italy (Rome only), Japan, Korea (Rep.), Mexico, New-Zealand, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Thailand, USA, United Kingdom (London Heathrow only), Uruguay or Venezuela must have:
    • the original paper certificate of a negative COVID-19 RT-PRC test taken at most 96 hours before the departure of the last direct flight to Egypt; or
    • a printed negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test taken at most 24 hours before departure of the last direct flight to Egypt.
    • The test must:
      • be based on a nasal or oral swab.
      • have the hour and date of the withdrawal of the sample;(which is the date on which arrival window will be counted)
      • be issued by an authorized accredited laboratory
      • must contain the laboratory’s stamp OR a QR code with the required passenger details.
      • indicate the type of sample taken for the swab,
      • indicate the type of test used (RT-PCR)
      • The certificate is accepted in English, French, or Arabic.
  • This does not apply to passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before departure.
    • Vaccines accepted are:
      • AstraZeneca, Janssen (J&J), Moderna, Pfizer, Sinopharm, Sinovac, or Sputnik V
      • The vaccine certificate must be in Arabic, French, or English; and have a QR code, or must be approved y the Egyptian Embassy in the country of departure.

*Note: At the moment, vaccine cards from the United States and many other countries do not come with a QR code option, so, we ask that all vaccinated Snorkel Venture guests receive an RT-PCR test and follow the above COVID-19 testing requirements for entry into Egypt to avoid any complications.

  • Passengers arriving from a country other than:

  • Visas on arrival services are open. eVisas purchased in advance are also available from visa2egypt.gov.eg
  • All travelers will be required to submit a traveler’s declaration including a questionnaire on information on trips undertaken in the 14 days before coming to Egypt and a confirmation that the passengers have not shown any symptoms of COVID-19 or knowingly been in touch with coronavirus patients.
  • All travelers will need to have international medical insurance covering their stay in Egypt.

Mexico

While Fiji is open for tourism, Tonga has a prolonged and measured approach for reopening international tourism. At the moment, the government has implemented a ban on all foreign visitors.  Snorkel Venture has tentatively scheduled the restart of our Tonga Fiji Snorkeling Safaris for our September  2022 Tonga & Fiji Snorkel Safari.

Fiji Arrival Requirements:

  • Passengers arriving from Australia, Bahrain, Belgium, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, Cook Isl., Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, French Polynesia, Greece, Guam, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kiribati, Korea, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Malta, Marshal Isl., Micronesia, Nauru, New Calendonia, New Zealand, Norfolk Isl., Northern Mariana Isl., Palau, Portugal, Qatar, Samoa, Singapore, Solomon Isl., Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tonga, Turkey, Tuvalu, UAE, UK, USA, Vanuatu or Wallis and Futuna Isl. must have:
    • a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before departure.
      • Vaccines accepted are AstraZeneca (SK Bioscience), AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Covishield, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax) and Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty).
    • This does not apply to passengers younger than 18 years traveling with a fully vaccinated parent or guardian.
  • Passengers arriving from a country other than Australia, Bahrain, Belgium, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, Cook Isl., Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, French Polynesia, Greece, Guam, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kiribati, Korea, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Malta, Marshal Isl., Micronesia, Nauru, New Calendonia, New Zealand, Norfolk Isl., Northern Mariana Isl., Palau, Portugal, Qatar, Samoa, Singapore, Solomon Isl., Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tonga, Turkey, Tuvalu, UAE, UK, USA, Vanuatu or Wallis and Futuna Isl. must have:
    • a pre-approval from the COVID-19 Risk Mitigation Taskforce (CRMT); and
    • a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before departure.
      • Vaccines accepted are AstraZeneca (SK Bioscience), AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Covishield, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax) and Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty).
    • This does not apply to passengers younger than 18 years traveling with a fully vaccinated parent or guardian.
  • Passengers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 2 days before departure from the first embarkation point. The test must be based on nasal, nasopharyngeal or mid-turbinate swab. This does not apply to:
    • passengers with a positive PCR test taken at most 90 days before departure. They must have a medical certificate issued by a medical practitioner showing they are fit to fly and have completed an isolation period.
  • Passengers arriving from Australia, Bahrain, Belgium, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, Cook Isl., Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, French Polynesia, Greece, Guam, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kiribati, Korea, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Malta, Marshal Isl., Micronesia, Nauru, New Calendonia, New Zealand, Norfolk Isl., Northern Mariana Isl., Palau, Portugal, Qatar, Samoa, Singapore, Solomon Isl., Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tonga, Turkey, Tuvalu, UAE, UK, USA, Vanuatu or Wallis and Futuna Isl. must have proof of:
    • at lest 3 night pre-paid accommodation at a Care Fiju Commitment (CFC) hotel; and
    • certified transport from the airport.
    • They must have stayed in Australia, Bahrain, Belgium, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, Cook Isl., Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, French Polynesia, Greece, Guam, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kiribati, Korea, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Malta, Marshal Isl., Micronesia, Nauru, New Calendonia, New Zealand, Norfolk Isl., Northern Mariana Isl., Palau, Portugal, Qatar, Samoa, Singapore, Solomon Isl., Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tonga, Turkey, Tuvalu, UAE, UK, USA, Vanuatu or Wallis and Futuna Isl. in the last 14 days.
  • Passengers arriving from a country other than Australia, Bahrain, Belgium, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, Cook Isl., Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, French Polynesia, Greece, Guam, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kiribati, Korea, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Malta, Marshal Isl., Micronesia, Nauru, New Calendonia, New Zealand, Norfolk Isl., Northern Mariana Isl., Palau, Portugal, Qatar, Samoa, Singapore, Solomon Isl., Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tonga, Turkey, Tuvalu, UAE, UK, USA, Vanuatu or Wallis and Futuna Isl. must have proof of pre-paid accommodation of at least 10 nights at a Fiji Managed Quarantine facility.
  • Passengers must have health insurance to cover COVID-19 expenses.

    • passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated with AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Moderna (Spikevax) or Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty) at least 7 days before departure or fully vaccinated with Janssen at least 28 days before departure, and their accompanying minors younger than 18 years.

  • Passengers are subject to a COVID-19 antigen test upon arrival.

Palau Snorkel Safaris: Palau Snorkeling Safari

Arrival Requirements:

  • All travelers must provide proof of a COVID-19 vaccination, with the final dose received at least 14 days before your arrival in Palau.
  • A Pre-Arrival Negativ COVID-19 PCR test (or Documentation of Recovery) must be provided.
    • PCR tests must be taken within 3 days; or
    • Antigen tests must be taken within 1 day prior to departure from the point of origin to Palau.
  • All travelers must provide valid addresses and contact information in Palau.
  • All guests must complete a Day 4 supplement COVID-19 test.
  • All travelers shall be COVID tested on the fourth (4th) day following their arrival to Palau and are required to follow all requirements states in the Mitigation ORders issued upon arrival.

Departure Procedures:

  • “Return Travel Testing” is available through Balau National Hospital.  For travelers to the USA (and other countries that accept Antigen test results) Palau’s Day 5 (Friday) test will meet the 3-day testing window for return travel testing for entry into the USA.  Guests must embark on flights departing Sunday or Monday and travel directly to the USA with no in-transit stopovers.   Click Here for the CDC’s FAQ for USA testing.
    PCR tests are also available through Balau National Hospital.  Test results take 24-48 hours to return.

Philippines

Arrival Restrictions:

  • Passengers must complete a “D’Viajeros” form at https://dviajeros.mitrans.gob.cu/ before departure. This will generate a QR code which must be presented upon arrival.
  • Passengers arriving from Botswana, Eswatini, Sesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa or Zimbabwe must have:
    • a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing they were fully vaccinated; and
    • a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test taken at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point; and
    • are subject to take a COVID-19 RT-PCR test upon arrival; and
  • Passengers arriving from a country other than Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa or Zimbabwe must have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated; and
    • a COVID-19 RT-PCR test taken at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point.
    • The Covid Vaccination certificate does not apply to:
      • national of Cuba residing in Cuba;
      • passengers younger than 12 years;
      • passengers with a medical certificate of contraindication who cannot be vaccinated.
    • The COVID-19 test requirement does not apply to:
      • passengers younger than 12 years;
      • passengers traveling through tour operator agencies arriving from Canada or the Russian Fed.
  • Passengers could be subject to medical screening and a COVID-19 RT-PCR test upon arrival.
  • A completed “Declaracion de Sanidad del Viajero” must be presented upon arrival.

Honduras

Arrival Restrictions:

  • Passengers must have a negative COVID-19 test taken at most 72 hours before arrival.
    • Accepted tests are ELISA and RT-PCR
    • This does not apply to passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least two weeks prior to arrival
    • Vaccinated passengers must present the original card that was given to you at the site where they were vaccinated
  • A completed “Immigration Pre-Check” must be presented upon arrival. The form can be submitted online before departure at http://prechequeo.inm.gob.hn
      • All travelers will need to print out and travel with the completed form that will be e-mailed to you
  • You must have paper copies of your Immigration Pre-Check and either your COVID-19 test results or proof of vaccination. You will be asked to show both at multiple points prior to boarding the flight and upon arriving in Roatan
  • All passengers must comply with the protocol established in the International Health Regulations at the time of entry into the country (clinical evaluation and mandatory quarantine) if the health authority determines so
